Pacific write:
Turin Brakes' drummer Rob Allum, fresh from their appearance on Jonathan Ross, & nursing a fractured hand, supplemented an under strength Pacific line up.
Fortunately, he was not called upon to bat one handed but was the most economical of the wicket takers. Despite his & Rob Bastin's & Sammy Purcell's seaming efforts - particularly the latter who held the batting togher with 48 not out, Ravens continued to hold their supremacy over Pacific - now 7 games since June 2000 in which they remain unbeaten.
With Pacific's 5 wickets to fall falling to 5 different bowlers, the nemisis on this occassion was a batter by the name of Nick who retired with 52 runs against his name including 2 x 6s & 5 x 4s from the 40 balls he faced; thereby, leading his side comfortably home by 4 wickets & with 20 balls to spare.
