Michael Biggs of Tower Ravens writes: After losing the toss and
fielding first Tower Ravens produced a fine bowling performance in a reduced
12 over contest.
Nick, Ron, Mark and Pierre only captured 3 wickets between them but the
pressure they created in allowing only 3 boundaries throughout the innings
undoubtly led to the 4 runs outs that followed.
After restricting our oppenents to 63 all out the Ravens batters were
confident of an early trip to the pub. Indeed Nick, Irfan and Ron were
perhaps a bit too confident, all falling cheaply whilst attempting Freddie
Flintoff exploits.
In the end it was left to the more elegant stroke play of Ben and Ken to see
the Ravens home with 5 overs to spare. |
