The ground was damp, the grass chewy, but against some tight bowling the
117 of the Victoria Lounge did still not look enough.
Tower Ravens were making serene progress towards the Lounge's meagre
score when the heavens opened, having scoring approximately 60 runs off
seven overs.
When the rain finally relented, a bedraggled and pub-bound Victoria
Lounge conceded the game to the bedraggled but pitch-bound Ravens.
It was perhaps too dark and dangerous to play, but Ravens were keen to
play on - the Lounge let them have victory.
