London Wanderers won the toss and chose to bat first
London Wanderers: 181 for 3 in 16 overs
Howie Shearing 53 no
Badhrul Alam 51 no
Chris Barlow 29
Manas Saha 14 no
Nomann 2-17 off 3
Chats Palace: 41 for 7 in 8.1 overs
Ned 13no
Dean Fisher 4/20 off 3
Jeff Allen 1/1 off 1.1
Chris Connell 1/14 off 3
Manas Saha 1/6 off 1
London Wanderers started a bit slowly, with some disciplined opening
bowling from the Palace. They got going though, and with some big hitting
all the way through, made 181 from 16 overs. Shearing (53no), Alam (51no)
and Barlow (29no) provided most of the big hitting.
Chats Palace struggled
with the bat under some tight bowling. Ned hit out with 13no, but the rest
failed to Dean Fisher (4/20 off 3) with the other three bowlers taking a
wicket each.
It finished pretty quickly, and probably didn't put a true
reflection on the two teams, a couple of the Chats Palace boys got good
balls early on.
