From the first ball bowled Contenders started off well with their
aggressive batting, despite Tower Cavaliers accurate bowling but Contenders
batting was too strong for the opposition.
Contenders' first three batsmen went well into double figures, Dee
Alexander 53 not out, Ramsey 50 not out and Ambrose 48 not out.
This made it easier for their remaining team members to place the
highest run chase in the competition at present (223 runs), so Contenders
took the field with confidence which shows in the bowling and fielding.
On the day Contenders was too strong for Tower Cavaliers. This match
was played in good spirit thanks to Tower Cavaliers.
