Tower Cavaliers won by 30 runs
Tower Cavaliers won the toss and chose to bat first
Tower Cavaliers: 156 for 3 in 16 overs
Steve "McQueen" Williams 53 (retired)
Cain "Deadly" Duncan 36
Hussein 1-15
Clarke 1-9
Victoria Park Juniors: 126 for 5 in 16 overs
Skipper, Steve "McQueen" Williams, won the toss and decided to bat. He
scored another half century, 53 not out, (his 7th, this season, in the
VPCCL). A record maybe?
Vice captain, Cain "deadly" Duncan chipped in with a
solid 36 and "Dr" Paul Johnson smashed a quick 22. As a result the Cav's
scored a competitive 156-2.
The VP Juniors batted tremendously hard to get
within striking distance but wickets falling at cruicial times it proved a
difficult task. Finally Juniors ran out of overs. As usual, playing VP
Juniors was a pleasure, win, lose or tie.
