It was lovely, pleasant evening that ended in a narrow defeat for Pacific
who fielded first. The team bowled well, particularly Rees and Faisal, but a
dozen wides would turn out to be costly.
In reply Lahrie and Rob Allum helped Pacific recover from the loss of
a couple of early wickets and then Webley and Faisal seemed poised to take
Pacific home.
However, Lucius was bowled by a very good ball and then with four
needed of the last over skipper Rees was crazily run out going for a second
off the first ball and Aroon bowled off the fourth ball - Peter Hollman of
Pacific.
