London Fields: 170 for 5 in 16 overs

Dean Fisher 3/36 off 4
London Wanderers: 172 for 3 in 15 overs
Chris Duncan 42 no
Emmanuel Hondros 37 no
Damian Finlayson 29
Turley 1/28 off 4 overs
Fields won the toss and put Wanderers into the Field. Robin Friend and
Will Isaac batted superbly, picking apart the bowling and thank god for the
retiring rule. Fields 170 was a great total in the drizzle and Fish and Honz
were the only Wanderers bowlers of note.
Wanderers chase started well, regular runs and boundaries kept us in the
hunt, if only slightly behind all through the innings. A couple of big overs
near the end got us over the line. Turley was the best of the Fields
bowlers.
They got the worst of the weather, as it got slicker and slicker as the game
went on. Credit to Chris 'Ladies Choice' Duncan, who opened and batted
through the innings (chasing 171) for 42 not out. Batting for average, that.
