Homerton gain there biggest victory to date by 37 runs over Regents in a
good natured game. Homerton we put in to bat first and runs game quickly
with Lawrence H reaching 50 not out (he's 5th of the season) with support
form both Rory & Gary H.
Unfortunately for Regents too many extras in the first 8 overs did not help,
but with 2 run outs and some good bowling in the last 8 overs keep the total
to 142.
But this was Homerton’s game to lose and with a run rate of 8.9 it was
always going to be a tall order for Regents in a dull East London evening.
Homerton best day in the filed this season kept the run rate down and when
wickets started to fall the game was all but lost with Regents looking 18
runs a over before the last wicket fell Regents ended 105 all out
