ELCCC lost the toss again! and was put into field on a cold overcast cloudy evening on pitch 1.

Stoke Newington's opening pair, which included their young captain at the helm started very well - hitting several boundaries almost at will, however with the experience of elccc senior bowlers pegged the scoring back to a modest total of 105.

Scoring was never going to be easy on an outfield which resembled the Amazon rainforest. ElCCC's run chase started apallingly, losing the first three wickets in the fist two overs!

At this point things were looking somewhat gloomy for ELCCC, however with the the inrtroduction of Yasir and Ilaays turned the game around with an amazing fightback with Yasir 49 N/O timed his innings to perfecion, with the help of his able side-kick Ilyas 26 N/O steered elccc to victory.

Well played Stoke Newington, who with a young talented team will certainly be a force in the league and Elccc wish them all the best for the remaining season.
