A great win for LFCC against a very good opposition. The Island batsmen were
kept under control by some of LFCC's most accurate bowling of the season and
sharp fielding.
We knew that 117 was well within our reach however, there was still a lot of
work to be done as we were well aware of how destructive Islands bowlers can
be.
But, no body told Robin Friend who was truly brutal in his approach to
chasing down the score and smashed a very quick 53 making the job far
simpler for the rest of the LFCC batsmen.
Top stuff to LFCC and hard luck to Island.
